To stay sane, she works as a freelance writer, obsessively researches recipes in her "Cook's Illustrated" cookbook and keeps in touch with her non-mommy friends.
• Christine Hennebury -- Christine Hennebury is a freelance mom and stay-at-home writer living in Newfoundland. On any given day she can be found juggling two small boys, her marriage, some writing assignments, her theatre company, an arts association and a cup of mint tea. • Marla Good -- Marla Good blogs, often with illustrating snapshots taken through the windshield and rearview mirror of her life, at Hello Josephine. She veered off the career highway to seek her purpose on the side roads, with her husband as co-pilot. A motel rest stop led to Josephine in the baby seat, and a trunk load of re-birthed creativity. Now freelance employment and her family keep her between the white lines - but blogging keeps the shiny side up and the rubber side down.
  
• Kris Underwood -- Kris Underwood still doesn't write as much in her journals as she would like, but can be found on her blog, Writing In The Mountains, pondering the ups and downs of motherhood and life in general.
• Danielle Donders -- Danielle lives in Ottawa, Canada. She reads and blogs in stolen moments while mothering two preschool boys. You can read more of her book reviews (and a lot more) at Postcards from the Mothership
• Monika Jazyk -- Monika Jazyk is a stay-at -home mother and a freelance writer. She lives in Markham, Ontario with her husband Vaughan and her two sons Josario (2) and Andrius (5 months).
